What contract is made?
The MYBA charter contract is made between the Owner and the Client, with a Broker as intermediary and a Stakeholder holding the funds until the end of the charter.
What does the rental price include?
The price includes the use of the boat, crew, service and equipment on board.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation policies vary by contract and may carry penalties.
What are the extra expenses?
Extra expenses include fuel, galley, moorings and other expenses incurred by the captain. These are covered by the Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA).
Who cooks on board?
A crew cook cooks on board. On larger yachts, there is a professional chef or kitchen brigade.
How is the itinerary managed?
The itinerary is planned according to the client’s preferences and weather conditions.
Is it necessary to have rental insurance?
Boat insurance is the responsibility of the Owner, but personal insurance is recommended.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payments can be made by bank transfer. Credit cards and other methods are accepted upon request.
What happens if there is damage to the boat?
Any damage caused by the customer is the customer’s responsibility, and the deposit can be used to cover the cost of repairs.
Can you bring your own crew on board?
No, only the Owner’s crew is authorized to operate the boat.
